My daughter said,"but Mom, you need to share your fabric!" This realization came after several years of continually purchasing and
having our private stash for creating commission quilts for the public; into, having a full service quilt shop (and sharing our fabric). Coming from several generations of quilters, quilting is kept alive and well, and our joy and our enthusiasm in quilting is contagious. So, in 2000 we opened the doors of our new quilt shop.

Gerline's Quilt Shoppe is an extraordinary shop located two miles west of Giddings on Hwy 290 and one mile South on Lee County Road 205. Our shoppe outgrew its original location
andwe are now in a larger shoppe which definitely says "Quilt Shoppe". As you near the shoppe you will observe the quilts airing on the wood fence, quilts on the outside gliders and chairs and a flag waiving a welcome to all. Our patchwork ceramic tile floors show several quilt patterns. We have a most warm and friendly atmosphere inside where all shoppers feel welcome. Our staff are all knowledgeable quilters who offer help whenever needed.
We hope you enjoy our new web site and feel free to contact us via phone, e-mail, fax, or the best way; stop by next time you are in Central Texas. You will thoroughly enjoy the experience.
