the Center's stack of quilts. The quilt pictured in the background to the left will be presented
to the MD Anderson Cancer Research Center near Bastrop for the 2008 annual auction.
This auction is sponsored by the Cattlemen for Cancer Association.
Angels are having a good time sorting the quilts!
Sally Finley from Dime Box was at the open house and is shown with one of her three quilts that she made to present to the Children's Advocacy Center in Bastrop which serves Lee County.
Denise Harlan of the Giddings Chamber of Commerce and some of the Angels were present to help Robyn Placke Bunch celebrate winning the Quilting Angel's King Size Raffle Quilt. All proceeds from tickets sold for this quilt will be used to purchase supplies in order to continue making quilts for next yea'rs presentation as well as fire department's auction quilts and other charities. Congratulations Robyn!
