Gerline's Quilting Angels
The Quilting Angels are officially Calandar Girls!! We are the featured in the Bluebonnet Electric calandar for the month of August!
Gerline's Quilt Angels are a group of volunteers sponsored by Gerline's Quilt Shoppe. The group meets on every Monday of each month from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m. next door 
to the quilt shoppe. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. The more help we have the more we can donate. The group makes and donates quilts to local nursing homes, local fire departments, the Bastrop Crisis Center, and other organizations.
The annual fundraiser that the Angels have is a raffle quilt. This, hopefully will furnish the angels with the funds to puchase batting, threads and etc. to work with the donated scraps and fabrics to continue their work for the year. This is an annual event. Check this web site for the pictures of previous and upcoming raffle quilts.
The Angel do always accept and appreciate any donations of fabric, so keep this in mind when cleaning out your stash.
