OUR CUT-OFF DATE FOR QUILTING YOUR QUILT BEFORE CHRISTMAS IS FRIDAY, SEPT. 9th.  THIS WILL INSURE THAT YOU WILL HAVE YOUR QUILT READY BY DEC. 21 AT CLOSING TIME.  Quilts checked in after Sept. 9th., many or may not be ready by Dec. 21.  Our current turn-a-round time is 6 to 8 weeks.

Key Tags

We are now using Key Tags, which attach to your key ring. There are amounts printed on the edges. These amounts will be punched by us according to the amount of ALL regular priced purchases you make in our store. Items not punched are listed on the key tag, and include classes, quilting, quilts, repairs, gift certificates, sale items and sales tax. There is no expiration date on key tags. The cost to take advantage of these savings is only $1.50 per key tag. Key tag must be presented at the time of purchase. However, when all amounts are punched, you can use your tag just as you would $30.00 cash in our store.

Gerline's Quilting Angels

Gerline's Quilt Angels are a group of volunteers sponsored by Gerline's Quilt Shoppe. The group meets on every Monday of each month from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m. next door to the quilt shoppe. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. The more help we have the more we can donate. Even if you do not know how to sew there are other things such as cutting, ironing, and binding that would contribute equally to the production of more quilts. The group makes and donates quilts to local nursing homes, local fire departments, the Bastrop Crisis Center, and other organizations.

Just come with a smile and a sack lunch.
We have a microwave, coffeepot and small refrigerator.
The fellowship is wonderful and it will give you a good
feeling to help make our community a better place.
